LumenPnP nozzle subsystem

Based on published sources · Not tested by us ·

Overview

A vacuum pick-and-place nozzle subsystem with inventoried FreeCAD holder and spring files and separate purchased-component references. [S001] [S002] [S003] [S004]

LumenPnP’s vacuum tooling is designed for electronics placement on its native Cartesian platform. The BOM lists a NEMA11 hollow-shaft stepper and a rotary pneumatic adapter; those component references do not establish mounting dimensions for a delta robot. Its mechanical inventory includes nozzle-holder and spring FreeCAD files, alongside a BOM with purchased nozzle holders and tips. Delta-robot adaptation is an editorial engineering assessment: the inspected evidence does not establish a delta mount or verified fit. [S001] [S003] [S004]

Assembly and use

Buy a holder or fabricate its parts

The BOM distinguishes purchased holders from optional scratch-build components: inner and outer bodies, a spring, O-rings and a pin. It also provides toolhead-kit and control-box sourcing references for a rotary adapter, pumps and valves. Choose one route and reconcile made-versus-bought parts before costing the subsystem. Current standalone specifications, supplier prices and delta integration remain unresolved. [S004]

This review uses the pinned default-branch inventory, not a selected stable release. CAD paths were inventoried; CAD contents and fabrication suitability were not validated. The files and BOM references do not establish a complete configuration-matched manufacturing and control package. [S001]

License boundaries

The upstream notice places pnp/cad and pnp/pcb under CERN-OHL-W v2, workflow software under MPL v2.0 and KiCad libraries under CC BY-SA 4.0. It also states license-notice inclusion and branding-removal requirements; consult that notice before distributing modified material. The project’s branding is not a blanket permission to represent an adaptation as an Opulo product. [S002]

Source coverage and terms for separately selected controls and purchased components require review. No complete current cost, hardware build or performance test is claimed.

Cost

No current, complete configuration-specific build cost has been established for this profile.
