Assembly and use

Configuration and sourcing

V1.1 repository; README still labels beta; 100/150/200 mm rails and 21.5/40/60 mm motors.

Choose one of three NEMA17 motors; STEPFOC ×1; MGN7C carriages ×2; one selected rail; gear, magnet, thermistor, camera, inserts, printed parts and cables. [S001] [S002] [S003] [S004] [S005] [S006] [S007] [S008]

Integration

CAN/Python route. BOM warns PAROL6 and PAR6 use different cables. Vendor stroke choices 55/105/155 mm are not rail lengths. [S001] [S002] [S003] [S004] [S005] [S006] [S007] [S008]

Design limits and source rights

V1.1 assembly manual is an unfinished placeholder; resolve actual stroke and firmware match. The vendor describes the assembled product as a pre-release. It explicitly excludes jaws, which must be printed or bought separately, and requires an additional cable for PAROL6. Separately, this review has not verified a complete operating setup. Mechanical repository CERN-OHL-S-2.0; separately preserved STEPFOC firmware GPL-3.0. [S001] [S002] [S003] [S004] [S005] [S006] [S007] [S008]

This is a source-researched design profile. We have not assembled or tested this configuration; no complete current setup price is established. The preserved assembled-offer endpoints are EUR 714.00 for 55 mm stroke with a 21.5 mm motor and EUR 892.50 for 155 mm stroke with a 60 mm motor. These are offer prices, not DIY estimates. Shipping is calculated at checkout; jaws, the PAROL6 cable and applicable import charges require separate accounting. [S008]

Configuration checks before ordering

The vendor reports 12–24 V supply and 1 Mbit CAN. The README demonstrates the Spectral_BLDC Python API, but matching that API, controller firmware and the chosen gripper revision remains unresolved. The vendor selects strokes of 55/105/155 mm yet also lists 50–150 mm in its specifications. Confirm the selected usable travel rather than interpreting rail length as stroke. [S001] [S008]

The cited repository licenses do not establish a complete revision-matched electronics, firmware and software source set for the assembled offer. [S001] [S002]

Cost

No current, complete configuration-specific build cost has been established for this profile.
